Your car is a custom piece of you. No matter where you are in life’s journey, this one thing, the car, is an important piece of your psyche and happiness. These are more than machines made of nuts and bolts. They too have a soul that only the special few can see, and ever fewer tame. I would say you deserve this reward for keeping the automotive culture alive and well.
I have created hundreds of portraits, consisting of a wide variety of cars over the last 30 years. Some of these custom pieces are priced beyond $10,000 & displayed in national shows, magazines, and online. Much of my artwork has been in the product design realm and with the patent office issuing me over 20 design patents, I have had great artistic success.
There are a few levels of work you can choose from. My most popular is the single-car rendering in markers and colored pencil on a 16″ x 20″ matte board. The vehicle is in full color with a line-drawn, muted background to allow the vehicle to be the “hero” of the piece.
